I actually agree with you on this. I donated my 2020 FB tickets this summer.
I didn't ask for money back, or ask them to be rolled over to the next year, I simply donated them.
This was back when it seemed like they were doing everything possible and it was outside of their control.
But when they opened this campaign, but haven't taken common sense precautions (or explained why they can't), then I don't owe them a handout.

Not really a concern. They got new donors and more donations than usual. They grew the base for donations.
