Ham is superior in every way. Especially the way most people cook turkey. Nothing like eating the Sahara Desert. Yum.

I'll give you that turkey has a wider range of either being perfect or being awful. But even a meh turkey is better

Turkey and ham are both suboptimal choices and are basically sandwich meat

Buy two. Cook one for Prime Rib fans and the other for people without tastebuds

Better yet, just buy a ham for the people without tastebuds.

You want dry, overcooked prime rib? Why?
LiveCoug

I have a hard time eating meat that, in my mind, isn’t fully cooked. I am mocked

What if your mind is incredibly wrong? 🙂

I just tell people the pink is just because of the smoke. They always buy it

We did a prime rib some years ago. Kids didn't love it for that reason. So we moved on to rib eye. It stuck.

That's the same meat, just prepared differently . . .

My wife is the same. Thankfully, smoked meats and sous vide lack pink.

How does sous vide lack pink? It's the opposite.
JuicyJam
2/22/21 9:36am
Well, of course you can use a sous vide to cook something until its not pink
Tricky
2/22/21 9:53am
Ya not sure why one would bother sous vide to medium. Just grill it if that’s

Not if you leave it to cook long enough. That may also be from marinade.

IDK about marinades. But in general if the steak isn't pink it's overcooked.
