But we're in a position to trade up for a franchise QB, like we did last time with Wentz. Personally, I still like Wentz even tho he crumbled last season. I'm also a Doug Petersen fan so it was a bummer of a season and off season. But with Wentz officially gone and Sirianni here, feels like we're in full rebuild mode, although we can still make a run because of how awesome the NFC East is. If we don't get Wilson or Lawrence, I hope we draft receivers. I don't want Fields or Jones. I think both are short, quick read QBs that don't move the needle and aren't too different than Hurts.

Hurts can move the ball and has the collegiate pedigree. He put numbers up in his losses and moved the ball at the end of the year. He's only going to get better. If we stick with Hurts and get Chase or Smith I'll be good. If I was a betting man, I'd bet that we bolster the skill positions and secondary this year in the draft and see how it goes with Hurts for a season. If it's bad we shop for a QB next year. If it's up to me, I take Wilson because I think he's a more impactful playmaker than Ja'Marr or DeVonta.
