If money isn’t the most important measure, let alone the only one, why is non-
Uniformity a problem? People are free to make trade-offs between wealth and all the other aspects of life.
It is the government’s job to provide freedom, opportunity (education, civil rights) and property rights. It is not its job to ensure everyone is paid the same. Governments that try that (income equality) are usually ‘successful’ in ensuring everyone is equally mired in poverty.
