I totally get that.
Growing up in Texas I was a Longhorn (definitely not an Aggie) but very much a BYU fan too. I think you’re kind of out in an interesting position as an out of stater but understanding the sports hate in my regional rivalry helped translate the BYU/Utah rivalry. But I didn’t fully understand till I went to Utah for grad school. They really are anti-BYU in many cases.
