Sounds like a clown. From what I’ve experienced, there are way worse places

In terms of racism toward players (Boston & Baltimore to name the worst offenders). I highly doubt people threatened his kids lives, and calling an entire state of people “farm animals” is pretty incredible. I’m young, and I didn’t experience this era of the NBA in person, but I hate this guy.
