Getting Covid and recovering from it helps herd immunity just as the vaccine

Does as well. A lot of people who have recovered from Covid are still getting the vaccine and that’s what doesn’t make sense to me if this really is about herd immunity. There should be a requirement for an antibody test prior to a vaccine given so that we aren’t wasting time and resources vaccinating people who are already immune.
