Nor will the vaccine. The immunity inferred by a vaccine is created by the same internal mechanism as immunity inferred from symptomatic disease with a fever.

I think the lone they are trying to walk is confirming that you had symptomatic disease with a fever. I don’t think anyone wants to try and tease that out so they include everyone.

I think it a greater possibility that asymptomatic or mild (non-fever) disease won’t produce Ab sufficient for immunity but I have no real data to support that.
