A decent argument could be made that the FDA has killed more than it has saved.

The FDA is known to be extremely cautious about these kinds of things.

But safety is not the issue at all here though. So please don't spread that falsehood around. Scientists have known the vaccine has been safe basically from the beginning. It wasn't approved though because they didn't know if it was effective. Lots of lives could have been saved if it had been given in the summer or fall.
