Your immune system creates proteins to fight the disease and antibodies are the result. The vaccine just delivers it in a way that you won’t get as sick as if you had the disease, but it’s the same antibodies created by your immune system.

My side affects from the first dose of the vaccine lasted about 24 hours. I was sick but it didn’t last long.
