Hard to say, but your description of your son sounds exactly like a description

of teenage me and things my parents worried about. I went to lots of concerts/festivals but I personally never got involved with drugs or related things. The more freedom my parents gave me, the less I rebelled, but you'll have to figure it out for your son.
