Well if he's already listening to that music, hearing it live isn't gonna change a lot.
I remember a fireside where bishopric member (i.e. my dad) talked about evil music and how it was going to run us. Unbeknownst to me, he raided my music library for some examples.
I continued listening to it all and more after. Lots of Rock and rap (including Eazy-E). As I grew up, I figured out for myself what was appropriate or not. Having my own kids helped me tame my music likes.
But, my music didn't ruin me in the slightest. In fact, there's been plenty of research showing no direct link between lyrics in music and behavior.
For my own kids, we tell them what we expect and let them make their own choices because with access these days, they're gonna do that anyway.
