health wise and one of the mellowest and most obedient dogs we've ever owned. When my wife picked out the dog at the shelter this dog was the only one not barking, so maybe it was just this particular dog's personality, but she's been great, and we've had tons of comments from neighbors, friends etc... remarking on the dogs temperment and saying that they hoped they could get a similar dog. So overall I'd say the experience was 10/10, we would defintely get a shelter dog again.
