My friend has one — great dog. Wouldn't be my first pick of breed, but to each his own.

The great thing about dogs is that you bond such that whatever kind you do get, unless you're a bad owner or you managed to get a crazy animal, you'll probably get attached and become convinced it was the one for you, however replaceable it may have been when you got it.
