Exactly. We have a Camp Chef 3-burner stove, and we have both the 3-burner and 2-burner griddles.

We like the 2-burner griddle so we still have a free burner to heat water for hot chocolate. We use the 3-burner one for larger group things.

The griddles are awesome for fajitas, btw. It's one of our favorite camp meals.

Yes, it's my preferred method because of convenience.

You can do that, but it's essentially a frying pan with a lid--you don't get the baking action with heat from above
