I'm a little biased with Purdue. My grandpa died in 2000 and he had received
his Master's Degree in chemical engineering and taught at Purdue in the mid 1930's. They sent the largest bouquet of gold and black roses with his initials for his funeral. The U, where he taught (for free) for almost 30 years (and was a Dean), couldn't send even a condolence card down the street to the chapel on Foothill and 13th South.

This story should be your son's deciding factor of where he chooses to go to college.
