Tech that happened in the 80s that is still highly classified and not being used by the regular armed forces just Area 51 and the skunk works. The conversation was about the BYU guy that help engineer the downfall of the Soviet Union. Sadly he died of a heart attack in 84. But the tech was enough then to put a “plane/ship” anywhere on earth within an hour with enough firepower to wipe out every city in the USSR without them even knowing it existed

I suspect this was part of the reason to start space force and the clandestine goal to slowly leak some of the older tech to the world to keep others in check
