It’s true as long as there are no injuries. They won’t even dispatch a police officer unless there are suspected
Injuries. My daughter got t-boned by a car leaving an apartment complex. The guy actually apologized and said it was his fault to her. The cops didn’t come out, and he changed his tune to his insurance. I was on the call with my daughter talking to his insurance company (Statefarm), and they asked her if she had any video to prove it was his fault. She said no, but he hit her square in the side of the car when she was driving on the street. The insurance adjuster told her they can’t be sure it wasn’t her fault. I spoke up and asked the adjuster if she had seen a car be able to drive side ways into another car. She said that they have to verify everything…and I told her not to try and pin it on a teenage girl who was just driving. The insurance companies are ruthless.
