Delta housings don't have the cartridge in them for rough in, has to be installed. If you have a chrome ring about 2 1/4" it's a delta, it's probably wide open inside and will mix cold with the hot. Bet your cold isn't as cold as normal

Yes, it’s Delta. Trim doesn’t come in for a few more weeks.
