If I touch a 9 volt battery to the solenoids
They fire.
As for the barbed connector, I tried uploading a pic. It connects into the t piece of the pvc and connects to a flexible black hose running to three sprinkler heads.
I should mention the barbed part isn’t in the pvc, it’s connected to the pvc through a t connector.

A barbed connector in pvc? That seems odd. Those are generally reserved for drip systems utilizing drip line.
