does not like going to the doctor, not out of fear of needles, etc, but because she feels she has some moral responsibility to?....solve her problems as much as she can on her own. Her dad was literally a Wyoming cowboy born in 1940 who rode the range herding cattle on a horse and I think some of that tough persona must have rubbed off on her.
