Is "mindfulness mediation" the kind of cognitive therapy where, if you were
deathly afraid of spiders you might start the road to healing by writing the word "spider" on a piece of paper, then progress to looking at a portion of a spider's leg in a picture, then the whole leg, etc, etc until you can see a live one and not freak out?
