If I’m a CEO interviewing a candidate who calls his daddy CFO as a scare tactic to boost his negotiating position…
… I don’t imagine I would have a good opinion of that kid going forward. Even if he’s a good employee and does a good job, I’m keeping my distance from that kid and it’s probably going to cost him future job opportunities within the company in favor of employees that don’t call their dads during salary negotiations.
