how confident are you the diagnosis is correct? From what little reading I've done on it, it appears to be primarily a "let's rule everything else out" type of approach?

And does the pain level it causes change over time?

Asking the question because I've had a dull aching pain in my neck, inner shoulder blades and left shoulder/tricep for almost 2 months and a sister-in-law has it and thinks I might have it, too. Have done x-rays and an MRI and am meeting with a neurosurgeon in about 2 weeks to see what he says.

Doesn't sound like a fun condition to have.
