I'd wager Texas/Oklahoma is enough to swing that $4M/yr difference

So, yeah the PAC12 can absolutely compete (financially) with the Big 12 for Texas/Oklahoma. Also the PAC12 is next to renegotiate TV contracts and are in line for a sizable increase.

But they absolutely can't compete with the SEC or Big 10. Those two conferences are the behemoth's that can basically have any school they want.
