But Texas and OU want top tier money
If the P10 had been smarter and never expanded or, even better, ejected WSU and OSU after expanding, their per school payout would have been more in line with the other P4 conferences.
From a money perspective, P12 is in a really tough position relative to the other 3 conferences. Texas and OU were the only schools west of the Mississippi that could have moved the needle for the P12. Anyone else is just another mouth to feed. Thing is Texas wanted to join P12 minus Larry Scott’s clown show 🤡. I absolutely promise the P12 conference office is a 5 alarm fire right now 🔥
