This is where kids should be able to transfer if they want without penalty
If you live in the boundaries of schools like Bingham, Corner Canyon, Lone Peak, etc. the typical decent athlete will struggle to make any team there. So they should be able to go play at West Jordan or Riverton and not have to worry about sitting out a year. My wife's nephew was all soccer all the time, playing in the highest level of club soccer year round through 9th Grade. But Bingham has 50 boys in every class who play high level club soccer so he got cut. Why shouldn't those who get cut be able to transfer in order to have a more fulfilling high school experience by being on a sports team? His entire life was soccer, and then it was taken away without any chance for him to prepare mentally and he's felt mostly lost for going on 3 years now.
