I listened as well. I got the sense he was suggesting the easiest path was G5…

I THINK I agree with this.
I have limited BYU fan experience (as one who started cheering for the Cougs in the 2003-2004 season). But from watching BYU for that 18 year span (and seeing data like 30-40% win rate against P5), I wonder if G5 is the more likely/often achieved path to playoff success???
