P5 teams, it’s the elite teams that are the problem. Scheduling the Arizona’s is fantastic because I think BYU has risen above the lower right to bottom half of most P5 teams…it draws a lot of eyeballs and it’s exciting. Then getting a Tennessee while they are down and other big name teams who are struggling is another thing BYU use to do back in the day. But Wisconsin and USC when they are on top of it are tough. I think if we can limit our schedule to 1-2 powerhouses each season, 5-6 mediocre to lower P5 and the rest with lower level G5’s and you got yourself an amazing schedule and strategy.
