It’s really not a problem. It’s a trope. There is more competition available for kids now than there ever was. The only
place where everybody gets a medal is little kids sports and low end rec sports where it is just good to get the kids moving.
Kids sports today are very merocratic. “Everybody gets a trophy” became a buzzword for entitlement but it doesn’t really exist.

A lot of it is also other countries are better able to send their youngest, best, & brightest to America for college and
