Absolutely! The point is, BYU did recruit him out of HS, but whether it be

grades or being a late developer, could not/did not offer a scholarship and neither could/did anyone else, but BYU is somehow begrudged when nobody else is?

I must admit though that things might change with the transfer portal. Samson Nacua was passed over by BYU, but look at him. He is now a Cougar!
