To dwhitebud's point below, it's about maximizing revenue as much as putting butts in seats. Profession has nothing to
do with it. I bet most people complaining about the price have a nice phone. Get one that costs $20/less and the difference in a year easily covers the difference in cost between a $20 and a $60 seat. Or not going with the whole fam to a game and going.
It's usually not a matter of cost; more a matter of priority. And yeah, I am a BYU fan. So I prefer to spend a little discretionarily there instead of a nice phone, a few rounds of golf, a couple nights at the movie theater, etc.
