A win over USC wouldn't carry much weight. The media would spin it so fast

Think about it; USC has been down for years, plays in an admittedly weak conference, and doesn't even have a head coach. If USC beat BYU, USC might get some respect, but if the tables are turned? Forget about it. It will be viewed as evidence that USC is bad, not that BYU is good.
