That being said, as an in-house attorney who works remotely in Utah for an East coast-based Fortune 500 company, I'm happy to see that remote work is being normalized in our profession (the normalization of remote work in general is probably the biggest silver lining of COVID).

Several H&H attys joined Dorsey & Whitney which does have an office in SLC. Still, your point about fees is well taken.

Median attorney pay in the US is $86k. In Utah, $88k. Big law is a big racket. Only big biz should use them.
