BigLaw firms pay nice but they also push senior associates/nonequity partners out the door who aren’t advancing or building their own books. Ain’t no lawyer more vulnerable at the firm than a senior associate/young partner who bills at a high rate but doesn’t have his own BoB. Lateraling into a good situation at a Utah firm might be easier said than done at that point.
