puts upward pressure on legal wages in Utah. Starting salaries out of law school aren’t horrible (first year lawyers in every state are overpaid IMO) but raises and bonuses are typically meager.

Several H&H attys joined Dorsey & Whitney which does have an office in SLC. Still, your point about fees is well taken.

Median attorney pay in the US is $86k. In Utah, $88k. Big law is a big racket. Only big biz should use them.
