You could check and see if your company has any supplemental group plans for

hospitalization ect. AFLAC and American Heritage both pay cash based on being admitted to the hospital ect. Most plans have to have a waiting period for pregnancy, but a group plan may have different rules.

I knew a lot of people who received 3-4K in cash from those type policies.
