Counterpoints: 1) we should be recruiting better by now and 2) there are better
DCs out there in the p5 world. Our recruiting pool for coaches should be larger now.
About the recruiting ... yeah, yeah, honor code, I get it. But we should be able to recruit better than 70, especially with the dline considering the poly connection with Sitake and Tuiaki. I feel our lack of depth is on the coaches. Also the last couple of games, out of Sitake's own mouth, show a shocking lack of fundamentals with the players. If the players don't have the fundamentals and aren't physical, that's also on the coaches.
But to your larger point, I'm fine waiting a couple of years to see if they continue to grow and get better with p5 opportunities. But Tuiaki has to be put on notice, in my view. He needs to evolve and become better at in-game adjustments.
