Yup. He has a point, he also mentioned that part of the mental pressure comes
From having to repeatedly go to the check down.
But if I’m a QB, I think I’d get more frustrated about getting hit or having to speed up.
I also think that the mental clock thing works better after he’s been forced to speed up. If he’s having to get the ball out quickly and suddenly he has all day he’s going to rush the decision when he didn’t need to and that’s when an interception could potentially happen.
When I listened to the interview, I half expected him to say “fans don’t like mental pressure” or something like that
