afloat. I think that is a large part of the problem. They have been way too loose with their monetary policy. Their goal should have been keeping the currency relatively stable. Instead we had endless quantitative easing and have been buying $120 Billion worth of assets each month for a long time. The Fed should not look at GPD or unemployment, their singular focus should be keeping inflation in check. Inflation is the most regressive tax of all.
