At BYU he built but then was thrown into independence which was a huge task. We have zero idea what would have happened had we never went down the independence road. He also was ready to move on and build another program. He knew he needed to move and he did. It was good for all involved. I love Bronco but even I was ready for some change. It was a rough few years with Kalani but man he has figured it out.

Virginia was a massive rebuild. This was the 8 seasons before he showed. Combined 31-62. That’s a boat load of losing. 1 bowl game in 8 years.

I don’t think this is his ceiling. Could be if he doesn’t do some major adjusting with his defense though. His offense is the most legit he’s ever had. Crazy how ironic it is that this is his absolute worst defense. Many may be right that he can only build for 6 years but I think he has some good left in him at Virginia. He ain’t no quitter. I think he will dig deep and bounce back with an 8 win season.
