Take place, and I agree that the odds are seriously against us, but it is possible.
You can decide how realistic or unrealistic this is.
1-Oklahoma has to be ranked below us tomorrow night. None of it matters if Oklahoma isn’t below us to free up one spot. If they don’t do this tomorrow, then they won’t do it a week from now with neither of us playing. If they do, then we only need one more spot.
2-Oklahoma st probably has to beat Baylor convincingly to free up the last spot and they would have to view a three loss baylor who beat us, not as good as us with two losses. I don’t see a two loss Oklahoma st falling behind us.
3-Cincinnati has to beat Houston and stay in the playoff to keep the g5 auto bid taken in the playoff and not taken up in the other 4 NY6 bowls.
4-Michigan has to beat Iowa so Iowa doesn’t take a spot with an auto bid
5- Bama either has to beat Georgia to stay in the playoff, or if they lose, then Notre Dame has to win and the committee sees Notre Dame as a more attractive team than Oklahoma st for the playoff.
6-Baylor or Oklahoma st can’t make the playoff. If they do that open spot is now Taken by a big 12 team out of contract.
What % do you give that all those things have to happen?
