What is the NCAA going to do? Force private companies to open their books?

I dont think they even have the right to see an athletes tax returns.

The schools involvement in these deals is very limited. Why should they have any part in justifying what a private company (or a publicly traded one for that matter) is willing to pay a student athlete?

I get what you are saying but there is 0 chance the NCAA has any ability to regulate market value.
