good or bad we were. Obviously first game of the year so I guess that’s typical. We went on to have a great year but that game kind of sums up the season imo.

Never would’ve guessed that U of A would go 1-11 on the year, they gave me the impression they were a 5-7 type team that’d be fighting for bowl eligibility. We had a few other games like that as well where the opponent performed better than average against us. USF and Georgia Southern come to mind, and to a somewhat lesser extent UAB.

Regardless we had a good year, and have a lot to be excited about for next season.

Offense shouldn’t skip a beat. Allgeier is a big loss but bringing in Brooks was nice, and everyone returning should take at least a half step forward in development.

Defense has some nice incoming pieces but they’ll be freshman, I’m expecting more of the same from the D but slight improvement overall.


We have a similar schedule next year where we’ll have plenty of opportunities to make some noise, and we shouldn’t be big underdogs to anyone. If we can win 2/4 vs Baylor, Oregon, ND, and Boise, we’ll be looking at another 10 win season imo
