We will play 3 teams that had long stints in the Top 10 this year, and only one of those games will be at home. In addition, we play an SEC team and on the road against Stanford (although I believe next year will be Shaw's last chance to turn it around and I don't think he's "up for it").

That's much tougher than what we played this year. The "bottom" of the schedule should be easier. I'm tempering my enthusiasm for it unless we hear great things about some of the new defensive players in Spring Ball. It would be great to hear that Fano is "unblockable" for instance. Or that some of those interior DL have beefed up. Among other things I'd like to hear.
