The AAC was able to get a waiver for a non-division, non-round robin setup
As long as there's a clear, equitable and pre-planned way of determining which teams make it, the NCAA has been pretty generous with the waivers
What they don't want happening is for a conference to on the fly determine who gets in based on what works best for making playoff of NY6 bids
