I see what you are saying but in general those big games will be picked up

before it gets to the tier 3 rights that typically go to a conference network and something like Weber @ Utah ends up on the conference network. The other issue is that matchups like the ones you mention are going to be home and home which cuts the programming the conference network is guaranteed to get if it is a 9th conference game. I prefer 8 games but it is why the Big Ten and the PAC went to 9
