Second job I made like $40/day I think, I worked as a ranger at a scout camp

in the mountains above Cedar City. I believe I would get a check for ~$200 each weekend (we didn't have to do any work on Saturday/Sunday so we didn't get paid, even though we couldn't really leave anywhere)

I guess they also provided all my food and "lodging" for the week as I was basically just camping every day (trail food, MREs, trail mix, spray cheese and crackers, jerky etc)

I would take a troop of 13-14 year olds on a 5 day hike across the mountains doing 10+ miles per day (arriving at a different location each day where they would do activities like shooting, whips, carving, axe throwing etc)

Did that for a month and a half or two one summer.
