Many of these larger p5 conferences now have a 'crossover game' outside of their

division that they play every year, purely for preserving some of these types of rivalries. It shouldn't be insurmountable. And while football may be driving the bus, the rest of the sports shouldn't be totally neglected either. Travel is an issue for many of these other teams that may not necessarily charter all their flights.
