I heard that situation was smoothed over as a favor to Bronco.

I saw at least one situation when I was at BYU where a person left the Church (became a born-again), and lost their endorsement. I heard that Ashworth's situation was handled with kid gloves at the request of Bronco. One of these days, I'll have to ask my friend about it (since Luke is his SIL).
